Coastal Diamond has provided replacement diamond and cBN superabrasive grinding wheels for Vollmer grinding machines since 1992. Typical grinding wheels are:
Topping:
- 6A9 – 5” x 13/16” x 32mm bore – typically dual grit
Thick Face Grinding:
- D4A2 – 5” x 3/16” x 1/8” x 32mm bore
Thin Rim Face Grinding:
- D4A2P – 5” x 3.2mm or 2.5mm x 3/8” x 32mm bore
- 12V9 – 6” or 150mm with 32mm bore
Side Grinding:
- 4A1 – 4” or 100mm diameter x 4mm x 4.5mm
Note: Abrasives for Vollmer grinding machines can be superabrasive diamond or cBN (Cubic Boron Nitride)
